I’ve decided to be more transparent with my writing, my ADHD, and the struggles I’m experiencing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the biggest is the bouncing between projects depending on the current hyperfocus. This post contains a summary of the projects I’m doing some kind of work on at the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Embracing and continuously repeating to myself the mantra “everyone’s first draft is shit” has helped somewhat. Setting up a proper writing space with a desk, dual monitors, and so on, has also had a positive effect on actually getting stuff going, but it’s still a daily struggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The thing I’ve discovered about myself over the months is that I can’t push myself to do stuff. I’ve tried, and I lock up and lose the passion completely for the project. Add, on top of that, the doubt I always have about my ideas and my writing… doesn’t make the best environment to push something out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope that transparency can help me come to terms with my writing and grow as a writer, as well as help others to know that they’re not alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
