While most were civil, there were those that crossed the line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"harassing-the-author-is-crossing-the-line\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Harassing the author is crossing the line<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I can get why you can become upset, with the whole parasocial relationship and all. You spend years living and breathing the characters. You are invested, but in the end, it&#8217;s the authors decision. It&#8217;s the author telling the story they want to tell. If a person becomes so invested in a characters fate that they choose to invade the authors space and\/or become verbally abusive because of a difference of opinion, the issue at hand is far beyond a fictional character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone is allowed their opinion, but the author has every right to be oblivious to it. Scream it from tge roof top, do a review, or make a video of it.
